Decision close for Carlow supermarket's planning application to demolish houses for new carpark

Carlow County Council is set to make a decision soon for the demolition of five derelict homes to facilitate a new carpark on Carlow supermarket premises.

The local Carlow supermarket is Raths Londis and is located on the Pollerton Road in Carlow Town.

The planning application was received by the Carlow County Council on the 22nd of February 2024 and the Council is set to be made on the 17th of November 2024.

The applicant is Willie Rath.

The proposed works include:

The demolition of five derelict dwellings and replace with additional car parking to the front of existing supermarket, new boundary wall and railings with all associated site works at Raths Londis and no's 5,6,7,8, and 9 Pollerton Road, Carlow.

The decision once it is made by the Carlow County Council can be found on Carlow Live once the decision has been made.
