The Topaz service station at Junction 5 on the M9 has been rebranded the Circle K Ireland Carlow Service Station after a grand opening recently. 

Senator Jennifer Murnane O'Connor attended the event and said: "While motorists fuelled up with the miles for 10c less per litre offer, spinning wheel competitions, the free car wash and €2 Real Hot Dogs kept the crowds entertained.

"It was a great launch and participants were just marvellous if a bit frightening up close! Congratulations to team Carlow Circle K always a great part of the Carlow business community."

Also present for the grand opening was Cllr Andrea Dalton, who cut the ribbon.
