Carlow Arts Festival appeals for 'small army of volunteers' ahead of 40th anniversary

Carlow Arts Festival organisers have appealed for a "small army of volunteers" ahead of the 40th anniversary of the showpiece event. 

The 2019 festival runs from June 4-9 and organisers said it "cannot happen without the help of a small army of volunteers who help out with a wide range of jobs before, during and after the festival".

Volunteering is a great way to gain experience and get involved with arts, festival and event management.
