Cllr Pender said: ‘I will be using this platform to push for more health facilities to be opened in our county. There are a number of projects currently underway and I will use this forum to keep the pressure on to ensure their delivery.’

Pender continued: ‘I will be highlighting mental health supports to the HSE executives that appear at these meetings. We need more funding so that people can access these supports earlier on before their problems develop further. Earlier interventions secure better outcomes.’
