Carlow football club tenders for construction of new all weather astro-turf pitch

The club was recently granted planning permission for the project
Burrin Celtic FC has been tendered for the construction of a 6,565m.sq. all weather artificial turf pitch with surrounding 6m high fencing.
The tender is for the construction of a new all weather artificial pitch at the existing Burrin Celtic FC, Fenagh Road in Ballon.
Associated works are to include drainage, pitch lighting, fencing and additional works.
Bidders for the contract have until November 6 to make their pitch.
Planning permission for the development at the club grounds was granted in the last few weeks and will also include a 10m high ball stop netting, six 15m high floodlight poles, diesel generator plus all ancillary site works including surface water drainage and access pathways.
