Carlow Gardaí stop tractor driving under minimum speed for the vehicle on a motorway

Carlow Roads Policing Unit dealt with two different incidents on the M9 on Friday regarding speed, both causing dangerous conditions for other drivers.

Gardaí said: "A tractor driving under the required minimum speed for this vehicle on a motorway and a lorry traveling in excess of the speed allowable for this vehicle.

"Drivers must be mindful of breaking distances and reaction times regarding not just their driving but of other drivers also."
