They have recently linked up with a Lions Club from Texas!
Carlow Lions Club have recently met up with a Lions Club from across the pond. They recently met up a Lions Club that came all the way from Texas.
The different members from each of the clubs linked up and exchanged ideas and had a chat.
From the Texan Lions Club on Facebook:
"Three Dallas Founder Lions recently visited the Carlow Lions Club in Carlow, Ireland (District 133I), on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. They were hosted by PDG John O'Donovan, PP Pat Doody (2004), and PP Frank Mulvey (2011), all esteemed members of the Carlow Lions Club. Lion Pat is a Charter Member of the club (ca 1977). Lion Anissa has met PDG John before this her stint as the Camp Leader at ‘Discovery Ireland’ Youth Exchange and Camp from June 17 to July 6, 2024.
Their club meetings take place on the first Monday of each month at the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow, Ireland, where we had the pleasure of meeting them at their Lions den. We exchanged projects we serve and some mementos (various district’s pins from us and banners from them).
It’s truly great day to be Lions!"
