Carlow Rose now favourite to win the Rose of Tralee outright

Shauna the 'Mother Rose'
Carlow Rose Shauna Ray Lacey is the bookies' favourite to win the 2018 Rose of Tralee Festival.
The "Mother Rose" made it into the last 32 and took to the stage in Tralee on Monday with the second cohort of Roses on stage Tuesday night.
The Carlow woman - mother to her daughter Emmy - has garnered a lot of attention for speaking about being a mother and a breastfeeding advocate.
Unmarried mothers were barred from entry until 2008 so Shauna has been making history on her way to the televised finals.
