Date and time set for Carlow Athlete, Aaron Shorten's Paralympic race

Now that we're well underway at the 2024 Paris Paralympic games, there's a contender that we will be keeping an extra eye on, on the 6th of September, Carlow based athlete Aaron Shorten.

Aaron, who trains out of St Laurence O'Tooles Athletics Club in County Carlow is competing in the Mens 1500m. The race is set to take place at 10.01 on the aforementioned date. All the best to Aaron!

Aaron's bio from the Team Ireland website:

"Carlow man Aaron Shorten will also be making his Paralympic debut and rounds off the team as the only male athlete. His preferred event is the T20 1500m."

Aaron will be joined as part of the athletics team by athletes Shauna Bocquet, Mary Fitzgerald, Greta Streimikyte, and Orla Comerford.
