As Éire Óg and Palatine locked horns in the Carlow minor final on Thursday evening, the conversation is not about the football but instead about the referee.
The match was nearing its end with Pal up 1-13 to Éire Óg 3-05 the referee blows up as Éire Óg are about to put the ball in the back in the net.

As the final whistle is blown the commentators are baffled saying: "Pal were the better team but that is shocking refereeing." and "There is going to be trouble."
The commentator also comments "Ah the time was up in the middle of an attack on the 13 metre line?!? Ah never never. This has to be investigated."
