Two local Carlow darts teams had great results in the recent Inter-County Championships that took place last weekend.
The men's team making it to the final and unfortunately missing out with the ladie's team topping their group but missing out in the quarter finals.

"Great weekend down at the 2025 A Inter-County Championship in The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney. Well done to all our wonderful players, coaches, volunteers and supporters.
Both our men's and ladies teams played great darts all weekend but unfortunately a small bit of luck was missing. Our Ladies had a great Saturday topping their group and just falling short at the quarter final stage of the cup to a very strong Donegal team.
Our men were very unlucky runner ups in the Shield on Sunday losing narrowly 7-5 to Roscommon in a brilliant final."
Fair play to both the teams on the impressive results and I'm sure there will be many more to come.
