Local Carlow Town soccer team, Hanover Harps FC, have applied for planning permission for an extensive number of works to take place at their facility at The Plots in Rathnapish in Carlow Town.
The plans were submitted to Carlow County Council on the 9th of June 2025.
The soccer team won't have to wait too long to hear the decision that the Carlow County Council will make on their planning application with a decision due date expected on the 3rd of August 2025.

The proposed works in the planning application read as follows:
A new full sized astro pitch.
Flood lighting.
Sports fencing.
Ball stop netting and all associated site works.
