UPDATED: Kennedy Avenue to remain closed overnight after collision between truck and pedestrian

Barrack Street in Carlow Town has reopened following an incident but Kennedy Avenue is to remain closed overnight from the roundabout at Potato Market to the roundabout at Barrack Street.

A male pedestrian in his 40s was injured in a collision with a truck and he has been removed to hospital with serious injuries.
