Applications for Pollerton Text Alert to be returned to Askea Parish Centre by Friday
Residents be advised
Applications for Pollerton Text Alert are to be returned to Askea Parish Centre by this Friday, December 7 so that they can be registered as soon as possible.
There are a few spare forms available in the Parish Centre for anyone who did not receive one, or needs one.
Organisers said: "Text Alert is a relatively inexpensive way to assist the Gardai with the help of the general public to create a much safer and lower crime community.
"It brings communities together for a much greater good, and all for less than €1 per month.
"There really isn't any reason not to be part of it, and gives back great value for money, especially if you look at how much crime costs in monetary and emotional value.
"Thanks to everyone who has taken time out to register already."
