Gardaí in Carlow report 'increase in businesses and individuals reporting on-line scams'

Gardaí in Kilkenny and Carlow in recent weeks "have seen an increase in businesses and individuals reporting on-line scams".

Individuals are receiving e-mails from hacked accounts informing them that they have changed their bank accounts and to pay bills in new accounts, however this is a scam.
