Carlow Town's new bus service sees 1,000 passengers per day since its launch

At the recent Carlow County Council Meeting held on Monday 11th September, it was announced that Carlow's new town bus service has seen an average of 1,000 passengers per day since its launch.

Carlow Town Bus Service officially launched on Sunday 30th July and operates two routes, running seven days a week, 18 hours a day.

The two routes (CW1 and CW2) have become popular with town residents as the buses run every half hour in both directions.

The council expect to see even more people avail of the service, as third level students return for the academic year.
