CARLOW WEATHER: Dry and cloudy with some sunny spells

THURSDAY will be a very warm day in Carlow with sunny spells, hazy at times.
According to Met Éireann, scattered heavy showers will develop in the afternoon and evening, mainly over the midlands, and thunderstorms and spot flooding are possible. Highest temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees in a light to moderate south to southeast wind. Temperatures will be lower near the coast due to a sea breeze.

Friday morning will start off dry with hazy sunny spells, but cloud and showery rain will then spread up over Leinster from the southwest through the rest of the day.
The rain will be heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms are possible. Highest temperatures of 18 to 24 degrees, warmest in north Leinster, with a light to moderate south to southeast wind, occasionally freshening around showers.
