Carlow weather: Met Éireann predicts a cold but dry day

It is forecast to be a dry but cool day in Carlow, with temperatures not expected to rise over 10 degrees. 

Met Éireann predicts that it will be generally cloudy though there will be some brighter spells as well in the afternoon. 

There will be some light southerly breezes throughout the day.

It will be mostly cloudy tonight with limited clear breaks.

Nationally, it is expected to be largely dry with the chance of showers, most likely along the east or southeast. Light southeast breezes. Lowest temperatures generally of 3 to 6 degrees, locally a little cooler where skies are clearest.

There will be a good deal of cloud around again tomorrow mixed with occasional sunny spells.

There will be well scattered showers feeding into Leinster in a light easterly airflow. Highest temperatures will be no higher than 9 to 11 degrees.
