CARLOW WEATHER: Scattered showers with occasional sunshine today (Feb 28)

Some scattered showers and sunny intervals are expected today (February 28) with highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees. 

That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts light northeasterly breezes and cloudy skies with rain mostly in the south and east of the country. 

It will be generally dry tonight with just a slight chance of showers in the east and southeast. 

Early cloud will gradually give way to some clear spells, with lowest temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees and some frost possible.
