Carlow's first ever 'walking football' for over-55s launched with a kickabout this week

Men’s walking football is starting in Carlow for those aged over-55.

The FAI and County Carlow Local Sports Partnership are working together to start Carlow’s first ever walking football programme.

The first kickabout will take place at St Fiacc's Hall on Friday, November 9 from 11am – 12pm.

All you need is the correct footwear (good grip trainers) and comfortable clothing.

Make sure you stick around after for a post-match cuppa and a chat.
