Carlow's Triathlon prodigy secures third place in National Championships at just fifteen!

In an impressive display of athleticism and determination, Carlow local Amy O'Rourke, aged fifteen, recently secured third place in both the National Youth Triathlon and the Triathlon National Championships.

Amy attends school at Gaelcholáiste in Carlow Town. Due to the absence of a youth triathlon club in Carlow, Amy races for Athy Triathlon Club which highlights her commitment to the sport.

Amy took part in the fourteen to fifteen age group at the championships and has showcased her skills in the 600m swim, 13k bike, and 3k run.

This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication and talent of this local rising star in the world of youth triathlon. The future looks promising for this Carlow athlete and we wish her the best of luck!
