Continued improvements made around Carlow Town Centre

Brand new improvements across County Carlow continue with improvement coming this time at Dublin Street in the heart of Carlow Town.

A video of the improvements was shared on Facebook by Carlow Councillor Andrea Dalton. And she writes:

"More beautiful softening and greening of our hardscapes on Dublin St.

Thanks and well done to our Carlow Municipal District Team for working so hard to continuously improve our town centre."

Social media has reacted positively to the improvements with one user writing: "Andrea the improvements to the parks and visual amenities in the town are fantastic in the run up to entente floral let’s hope the huge capital investments, together with the work the team put in gets the recognition and rewards it deserves next month,

Love to see the 5 year maintaince plan for the installations after capital program ends, as they should not be allowed go wild and become obstructions to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists alike in years to come."

Another user writes: "The town is looking fabulous. Well done to all involved. As for future maintenance it would be no great hardship for the citizens of carlow to pull up a few weeds now and then. There's plenty of bins around...

Just saying..."

A third user writes: "Well done to all concerned, so many talking about all the effort being made by the Council in greening and landscaping around Carlow Town."
