The late Bernie Maher
The death has occurred of Bernie Maher of Lintown Gardens, Lintown Hall, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny and formerly of Dublin Road, Carlow.
Bernie passed away on 1st January 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the tender loving care of her colleagues at the Barrow Ward, St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.
Predeceased by her father Peter and sister Breda (Carey). Beloved daughter of Moira and much loved sister of Ann and Seamus. Bernie will be dearly missed by her mother and family, brothers-in-law Mark and Alan, nephews Darragh and Shane, her extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and friends.

Reposing at her brother-in-law Mark Carey's home in Mothel, Ballyfoyle (R95P6P4) on Wednesday (3rd Jan) from 3pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.
House private at all other times please.
Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Dunmore.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Very Rev. Brendan J. Howard P.E.
The death has occurred of Very Rev. Brendan J. Howard P.E. late of Clonegal and formerly of Jerusalem, Carlow.
Very Rev. Brendan J. Howard P.E. passed away peacefully, on New Year’s Day, 2024, in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Hillview Nursing Home, Tullow Rd., Carlow.
Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridget and his brothers Michael, Anthony, Martin and Robert.
He will be sadly missed by his loving brothers Noel, Aidan and Kieran, sisters Deirdre, Nuala and Angela, Bishop Denis and the Clergy of the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Peter & Paul's Church, Ballon, from 3pm on Wednesday, January 3rd, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.
Funeral Mass at 12 Noon on Thursday, followed by burial afterwards in Levistown Cemetery, Maganey, Co. Kildare.

The late James (Jimmy) Harmon
The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Harmon of Ard Phelim, Tullow, Carlow and late of Morristown, Newbridge, Kildare.
Jimmy passed away peacefully 1st January 2024 in the wonderful care of the nurses & staff of Beech Park, Nursing Home.
Sadly missed by his loving son Mick, daughter Teresa, grandchildren Tanya & her partner Wally, Ben & Lily, great-grandchildren Scott & Cody, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives & friends.

Reposing in Anderson & Leahy Funeral home on Wednesday from 5pm with prayers at 7pm.
