The death has occurred of James Francis (Frank) Walsh of Swords, Co. Dublin and formerly of Aughabeg, Co. Carlow.

Frank passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved father of the late Baby Colm. Sadly missed by his wife Beryl, daughters Veronica and Siobhain, sons-in-law Ian and Kevin, grandchildren Colm and Clodagh, brothers Ned and Liam, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords on Tuesday (16th Jan.) evening from 3 - 5 p.m.

Removal on Wednesday (17th Jan.) morning to St. Cronan's Church, Brackenstown arriving for 10 a.m.

Mass followed by funeral to Swords Cemetery. 

No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

The late Ben Treacy

The death has occurred of Ben Treacy of Kilgraney, Bagenalstown, Carlow.

Ben passed away suddenly on 15th of January. Predeceased by his mother Sarah. Sadly missed by his loving father Martin, stepmother Trish, brothers Gordan, Jayden and Scott, step- brother Sean, partner Maggie - Kate, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Joyce's Funeral, Borris from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, pausing for prayers at 6 pm.

Funeral to arrive at St. Lazerian's Church, Ballinkillen for requiem Mass at 11 am on Friday followed by burial in Lorum Graveyard.

The death has occurred of Seán Fitzgerald of 33 Kylemore Hill, Rathoe, Co. Carlow and formerly of Finglas, Dublin.

Seán passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on January 14th, 2024, at Waterford University Hospital.

Beloved husband of Rachael, adored father of Frankie, Sarah, Jamie, Adam, Seanna and Chris, much loved grandfather of Sophia, Michael and Sam and beloved son of the late Frank and Margaret.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, children, brothers Judd, Lar, Ter, Ray, Des, Steve, and Andy, sisters Fran and Noeleen, father-in-law Barney, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 Noon in St. Patrick's Church, Rathoe, Co. Carlow, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Clarke of Glynn, St. Mullins, Carlow / Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny / New Ross, Wexford.

Beloved son of Mary and the late Frank, brother of Vivienne, David, Philip and Francis, sadly missed by his loving mother, sister, brothers, nephews and nieces Maeve, Megan, John, Nicholas and Eoghan, sisters-in-law Candace, Ellen and Rebecca, cousins John, Alan, Lucy and Suzanne (Morrissey) and Daniel (Clarke), extended family, great neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Removal on Thursday, 18th January, to St. Moling's Church, Glynn, arriving for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mullins Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Kavanagh of Ballycrinnigin, St. Mullins.

Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny on the 14th January 2024. Deeply regretted by her loving family, friends and neighbours.
