The late Michael (Big Mick) Berry

The death has occurred of Michael (Big Mick) Berry of 7 St. Brigids Place, Pollerton Road, Carlow Town, Carlow.

Mick passed away peacefully 15th January 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Emily, sons Miles, Desmond and Mikey, daughters-in-law Sarah Jane and Mary, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Michael Rest in Peace

Reposing at McGuill’s Funeral Home, Bennekerry from 4pm - 6pm on Thursday and also at his home from 6pm - 8pm on Friday.

Removal on Saturday morning from his home to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea, arriving at 10.50a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11.00a.m. followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

The late Josie (Johanna) Nolan (née Townsend)

The death has occurred of Josie (Johanna) Nolan (née Townsend) of Tankardstown, Tullow, Carlow.

Josie passed away peacefully 15th January 2024 at Naas Hospital surrounded by her loving family in her 90th year; predeceased by her loving husband Paddy. Sadly missed by her loving son Tom, daughter-in-law Lisa, sister Bridie, sisters-in-law Annie and Teresa, grandchildren Harry, Paddy, John and Grace, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

May Josie Rest In Peace

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday, 17th January, from 3pm concluding at 8pm.

House private thereafter.

Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with Paddy in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, can be made directly to Tullow Daycare Centre.

The late Maggie Kelly (née Nolan)

The death has occurred of Maggie Kelly (née Nolan) of Mountpleasant, Fenagh, Co. Carlow and formerly of Saint Lazerian's House, Bagenalstown.

Maggie passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2024.

Predeceased by her loving husband Johnny, sisters Marie and Kathleen, brother Tommy.

Maggie beloved mother of Sean, Ger and Fintan. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters-in-law Maggie, Una and Martina, grandchildren Shauna, Jessica, Alice, Amy, Adam and Aoibhinn, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends in Saint Lazerian's House.

May Maggie Rest In Peace

Reposing at Kearney's Funeral Home, Fenagh on Thursday from 2pm concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in Saint Patrick's Church, Newtown, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
