The late Jim Dalton

The death has occurred of Jim Dalton of Main Street, Borris, Carlow.

Jim passed away peacefully at St.Luke's hospital surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his wife Peggy and sister Mary and grandson Oisin, sadly missed by his loving sons and daughters, Mary-Teresa, Carmel, Paul, Nuala and David and their partners, sisters Ann and Colette, his nine grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and friends.

May Jim Rest In Peace

Reposing at Joyce's Funeral Home, Borris from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday and from 3pm to 8pm on Wednesday.

Funeral to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Borris for Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday followed by burial in Ballymurphy cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Borris Lodge Nursing Home for the wonderful care he received there.

The late Maura Sweeney (née Curry)

The death has occurred of Maura Sweeney (née Curry) of Carrigbán, Bunclody, Wexford / Kildavin, Carlow

Maura passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Liam and mother of the late baby John. Sadly missed by her loving children Jerome, Darren, Thelma, Olivia, Nigel, Celina and Padráig, sister Pauline, daughters-in-law Catriona, Teresa, Aisling and Bríd, sons-in-law Paul and Joe, grandchildren Shane, Niamh, Cathal, Leah, Bobby, Conor, Joey, Sophie, Ella, Laura and Paudie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, very kind neighbours, relatives and friends.

May Maura Rest In Peace

Reposing at Kavanagh's Funeral Home, Kiltealy Road, Bunclody (Y21 P9F2), Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm.

Removal on Thursday at 10:30am to The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Bunclody for funeral mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Bunclody.

Donations in lieu of flowers to The Irish Cancer Society

The late Michael (Mick) Stynes

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Stynes of Arles, Ballickmoyler, Carlow / Ballickmoyler, Laois.

Mick passed away January 22nd 2024 suddenly at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of Brigid and much loved father of Brendan, Michael, Eamon, Christopher and John. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, brother Jim, daughters-in-law Barbara, Clare, Kate, Abigail and Nina, his 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, sister Bridie and brother Nicholas.

May Mick Rest In Peace

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Friday evening from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Friends of the Sacred Heart Hospital.
