The late Patrick (Pat) Cullen

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Cullen of Carrowmacbryan, Rathlee, Easkey, Co. Sligo formerly of Rathvilly Co. Carlow and Birmingham UK.

Pat passed away peacefully at the North West Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Pat predeceased by his parents Jane and Michael, brothers Jack, Tony, Tom, Joe, and Michael, sisters Mary and Peg.

Pat beloved husband of Rita and dear father of Jennifer, Dymphna, Patricia, and Kevin. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, and son, grandchildren Kieran, Liam, Jenna, Patrick, Cormac, Erin, Lewis, David, Orla and Niamh, great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Tommy and Rafe, daughters-in-law, AJ and Sarah, sisters Eileen (UK), Jane (USA), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Pat Rest In Peace

Reposing at his residence (F26H393) on Thursday evening 8th of February from 5pm to 8pm.

Funeral will arrive to Star of the Sea Church, Rathlee Co. Sligo for Requiem Mass on Friday morning 9th of February at 11:00am.

Pat’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchtv.ie/rathlee/

Burial will take place on Saturday 10th of February at 2pm in Rathvilly Co. Carlow at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery Rathvilly.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to North West Hospice, care of McGowans Funeral Home Ballina. https://northwesthospice.ie/donations/

The late Frances Hayden (née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Frances Hayden (née Kelly) of 41 St. Killian’s Crescent, Carlow.

Frances passed away peacefully February 6th 2024 in the loving, gentle care of Hillview Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Pa and dearly loved mother of Martin, John and Robin.

Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters-in-law Martina, Rita and Mary, adored grandchildren Jessica, Daniel, Seán, Kelly, Chloe, Rebecca and Ben, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her brother Bob.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Wednesday (Feb 7th) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am to the Church of the Holy Family, Askea (via St. Killian's Crescent) to arrive for funeral Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The late Christina (Diane) Hoey (née Skully)

The death has occurred of Christina (Diane) Hoey (née Skully) of Donaghmede & formerly of Crettyard, Co, Carlow.

Christina passed away peacefully February 6th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Hospital. Sadly missed by her loving husband Noel, daughters Mary, Sandra and Laura, sons Noel and David, son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Leisa and Sarah, her 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace

Reposing at her home on Sunday (Feb. 11th) from 3pm to 5pm.

Removal on Monday (Feb. 12th) morning to Church of the Holy Trinity, Donaghmede arriving for 11.30am Mass followed by funeral to Balgriffin Cemetery.
