The late Lily Mulhall (née Dempsey)

The death has occurred of Lily Mulhall (née Dempsey) of 'Castlebeag', Castlemore, Tullow, Co. Carlow.

Lily passed away peacefully in the care of her loving family at home.

Pre-deceased by her parents Aidan and Lizzie. Beloved wife of James and adored mother of Rosemary, Karen, Lisa and Patrick. Cherished grand-mother of Isobel, Adrian, Alannah, Sophie, Kate, James, Rocco and Lulurose. Sadly missed by Bernard, Luis, Eddie and Leah, her extended family, loyal neighbours, many friends and colleagues.

Reposing at her residence, 'Castlebeag', Castlemore, Tullow (eircode R93 Y2W4) on Friday, 9th February, from 3pm.

Removal will take place on Saturday at 9.30am to St. Patrick's Church, Rathoe, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 10am.

Cremation will follow in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin at 2.15pm

The late Tom Brennan

The death has occurred of Tom Brennan (Snowball) of Leeds, England and formerly Monavea, Crettyard, Co. Laois / Carlow / Kilkenny.

Tom passed away peacefully, on December 17th, 2023, in England.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family and his many friends.

May Tom Rest In Peace

Tom's Month's Mind Mass and the Interment of his Ashes will take place on Sunday, 11th February 2024, at 11am in The Church of the Blessed Virgin, Mayo, Crettyard, Co. Laois (Eircode R93 HY94).

All are Welcome.

The late Bill Brophy

The death has occurred of Bill Brophy of The Orchards, Tullow Road and formerly of Mill House, Rathcrogue, Carlow.

Tom passed away peacefully, February 8th 2024, after a brief illness at University Hospital, Waterford.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen and much loved father of Brian and Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving sons, sisters Elaine, Patricia, Anne-Marie and Carmel, daughter-in-law Dana, Aidan’s partner Laura, grandchildren Isla, Fionn, Emmy and Robin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother Les.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Saturday from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Bernie Brophy (née Fallon)

The death has occurred of Bernie Brophy (née Fallon) MPSI of 1 Sycamore Road, Rathnapish, Carlow and formerly Balla, Co. Mayo.

Bernie passed away peacefully, February 8th 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Ted and much loved mother of Eamonn, John, Enda and Sinéad (Holmes). Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, son-in-law Martyn, daughters-in-law Marian, Orla and Julie, adored grandchildren Conor, Aideen, Eimear, Niamh, Anna, Ellie, Ted, Finn, Luca, Cara and Livia, brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Josephine, nephews, nieces, neighbours, carers, relatives and friends

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in Holy Family Church, Askea.

Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow

Family flowers only, donation in lieu to the Poor Clare Sisters, Graiguecullen.

The late Doreen Gray

The death has occurred of Doreen Gray formally of Feighcullen, Rathangan, Co. Kildare and late of Mountclare Court, Graigecullen, Co. Carlow.

Doreen passed away peacefully, February 7th 2024, at Naas General Hospital, pre-deceased by her loving brother Dick, sister Rose, Connie and Harriett, deeply regretted by her loving brother Fossie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Doreen Rest In Peace

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Prosperous (W91T62P) on Saturday from 12 noon, followed by removal to Kilmeague Church of Ireland for 2pm Funeral Service, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Naas General Hospital and Hazel Hall Nursing Home, Clane for the tender care of Doreen.
