The late Kathleen Murphy
The death has occurred of Kathleen Murphy of 71 Fr Murphy’s Terrace, Tullow, Co Carlow.
Kathleen passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 8th, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Much loved mother of Paul and Michael, adored grandmother of Zoey, Lorraine and Chelsea, beloved partner of Denis, cherished sister of Clare, Michael, Esther, Jean, Lily, Tessie, and the late Paugie, Tom, Mamie, Pat and Helen and cherished daughter of the late Mick and Kate.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, grandchildren, partner daughter-in-law Trish, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Sunday, February 11th, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening.
Removal on Monday at 9.45am to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am.
Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
It is Kathleen’s wishes that her funeral will be joyous celebration of her life, so it is not necessary to wear black to her wake and Funeral Mass.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Friends of the District Hospital.
The late Tom Doyle
The death has occurred of Tom (Scott) Doyle of Water Street, Hacketstown, Carlow
Tom passed away peacefully, 9th February 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.
Predeceased by his brother Paddy. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, daughter Gemma, son James, daughter-in-law Sarah, brothers John, Jim, and Mick, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Saturday, 10th February, from 4pm concluding at 7.30pm.
Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown, on Sunday, 11th February, for 11am Requiem Mass, after which he will be laid to rest in Hacketstown Cemetery.
