Death notices and funeral arrangements in Carlow - Sunday 11th February 2024
The late John Amond
The death has occurred of John Amond of “Bawnree House”, Ballygowan, Milford, Co Carlow.
John passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 9th, 2024, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved Husband of Deirdre and much loved father of Fenella, Niamh and Gráinne, adored grandfather of Jamie, Ruby and Brody, cherished brother of Benny, Pauline, Colette, Helena, Ally, Raymond, Dessy and the late Paudge and Elizabeth and treasured son of the late Packie and Mai.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Paul and Michéal, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May John Rest in Peace
Reposing at his home, “Bawnree House”, Ballygowan, Milford, Carlow (Eircode R93 D296) on Sunday, February 11th, from 2pm, concluding with Prayers at 8pm.
Removal on Monday at 10am to St. Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
