Tributes have been paid to famous Carlow bone-setter Danny O'Neil from Myshall, county Carlow.
Danny passed away peacefully on March 13th 2024.
Danny beloved husband of Tess and much loved father of Dan, Mary, Jimmy, Gretta, Claire & Treasa.
Condolences from Rip.ie read as follows: "Sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Only yesterday we were reminiscing of the 90s when Dan cured my young horse, who had dislocated a stifle joint. The horse later become an successful international eventer in Canada. My condolences to all Dan's family and may he rest in peace."
Another reads: "Our deepest sympathy to all the O'Neill family and extended family on the sad passing of Danny, may his gentle soul Rest in Peace, 'a gentleman', our thoughts and prayers are with Tess, Dan, Mary, Jimmy, Gretta, Claire & Treasa and all the grand-children on the sad passing of their Grandad."
Finally: "My condolences to the O’Neill family on the passing of Danny. What a great gifted man. He took so many people out of pain. May he rest in peace."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at his home (R21WF96) on Thursday from 12 noon concluding with prayers at 8pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 2pm in the Church of The Holy Cross, Myshall, followed by burial in Lismaconly Cemetery, Myshall.
