Tributes paid for 'beloved mother' following the death of local Carlow woman

Tributes paid to Bridget Hennessy of Garyhill, Carlow after her passing

Tributes have been paid following the death of Bridget Hennessy née Lennon of Shean, Garryhill, County Carlow.

She passed away peacefully at her home on March 24th, 2024.

Predeceased by her parents John and Annie and her sister Celia.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband, daughters, brothers Mick, Jim & Paddy, sisters Ann & Mag, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences page of Rip.ie and are as follows:

"I am so sorry Annette. My deepest sympathy to you, your Dad and Ellen, and all the family on the passing of your beloved mother. I’ll be thinking of you in these difficult days. May your Mam rest in peace."

Another reads: "Sincere sympathy to you John, Ellie and Annette and all the Hennessy and Lennon families on the sad passing of Bridget.
May her gentle soul rest in peace."

And finally: "So sorry to hear of Bridget’s passing.
We are thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time.
Rest in peace Bridget."

Funeral Arrangements:

Reposing at her home (Eircode R21 TF62) on Tuesday, pausing for prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in Saint Lazerian's Church, Drumphea, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
