Tributes pour in for 'Young and Talented Man' following the passing of Graiguecullen man

William (Willie) Casey - 7th April, 2024

Tributes pour in for young Graiguecullen local, William (Willie) Casey from Tommy Murphy Park, Graiguecullen, Carlow / Graiguecullen, Laois following his sudden passing on the 7th April 2024.

Willie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken wife Mary, mother Ann, father Martin, brothers and sisters Martin, Miley, Lizzie and twin sister Ellen, mother-in-law and father-in-law Minnie and Jim Connors, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follow: "So sorry to hear of the loss of a young and talented man Willie , husband son and brother. May god guide you all and give strength at this very difficult time many a great memory we have from the side lines of the boxing rings around the country may he R.I.P .X"

Another reads: "So sorry to hear the sad news. My deepest sympathy to Willie's wife Mary and to Ann, Martin and all the Casey family. May Willie rest in peace."

And finally: "Such a handsome young man taken way to soon, thinking of your heartbroken family, rest in heavenly peace William x"

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at McGuill's Funeral Home, Bennekerry, R93 E5N7, on Wednesday from 6.00p.m. until 8.00p.m. and on Thursday from 4.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. followed by removal to St. Clare's Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Reception Prayers at 7.00p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday at 1200noon. followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carlow.
