Tributes paid to local Carlow 'Giant of a man with a beautiful soul' following his passing

Tributes have been following the death of Francis (Frank) Callinan of Bestfield, County Carlow following his passing on April 8th 2024.

Predeceased by brothers Les, Damien, Betty and Sonny.

He will be sadly missed by his family Angela, Ruth Marie, Victoria, Tracey, brothers Charlie, Michael, Martin, Patrick, Val, sisters Jeanette, Ann, Dolores, Tina and Peggy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follow: "Rest in peace, uncle francis. You will be deeply missed by friends and family. A warm hearted, giant of a man with a beautiful soul. God bless."

Another reads: "Sincere condolences to Angela, Ruth Marie, Victoria, Tracey, and all the Callinan family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May Frank rest in peace."

And finally: "So sorry to hear about frank i worked with him in Nolan transport years ago always had good times with him may he rest in peace god bless to all the family."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Carpenters Funeral Home, Carlow (EirCode R93 C863) on Friday, April 12th, from 4p.m. concluding with prayers at 7p.m. Removal from there on Saturday at 10:30am to St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carlow.
