Tributes pour in for Carlow school teacher following her passing

Tributes have been paid following the death of Brenda Pender (nee Commins) of Killerig, Carlow and formerly of Twomileborris, Co. Tipperary. 

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 16th 2024 at the Beacon Hospital Dublin.

Beloved wife of John (Blondie), much loved mother of Jim and Ned and cherished sister of Betty, Louise, Patricia, Donnacha and John.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Tributes from the condolences section of Rip.ie read as follows: 

"Very sad to hear the passing of Mrs Pender. I had the pleasure of Mrs Pender been my school teacher for many years. Sincere condolences to all her family at this sad time.

A lovely companion to many of us, who also made our homes in Carlow!

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at her home, Killerig, Carlow (EirCode R93 R899) on Thursday from 2pm. until 8pm. Removal from there on Friday at 10am to Glasnevin Crematorium for a Cremation Service at 12 Noon.
