Gerard (Ger) Dooley - Monday 24th June 2024
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Gerrard (Ger) Dooley of St. Killian’s Crescent, Carlow.
Gerrard passed away suddenly at his home on June 24th 2024.
Much loved brother of Therese, Mags and Padraig. sadly missed by his sister-in-law Celine, cherished uncle and godfather of Brona and Cillian and proud grand uncle of Hazel.
Deeply regretted by his relatives, colleagues and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of RIP.IE and read as follows:
"Sincere condolences to the Dooley family on the sudden and untimely loss of Ger RIP. Ger was such a great colleague and he touched all who knew him. I will miss passing his office and chatting to him about running and athletics. He was always in great humour. May you rest in eternal peace Ger."

A third user writes: "So sorry for your loss, I worked with Ger on different working groups between our local authorities, he was an absolute gent and very helpful and giving of his time. Rest in Peace Ger"
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Thursday, June 27th, from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to The Holy Family Church, Askea, (via his residence) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11a.m. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
