Tributes paid to Carlow woman with a 'Gentle Soul' following her passing

Bridget CURRAN (née Doran) - Sunday 30th June 2024

Tributes paid for Bridget Curran following here passing of Ballycarney, Carlow.

Bridget passed away peacefully on June 30th 2024 in exceptional care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.

Beloved wife of the late James, much loved mother of Michael, Jimmy, Liam, Margaret, Sharon and Patrick and cherished sister of Michael and the late Mary, Sean, Billy and Judy.

She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Sincere condolences to all the Curran family on the sad passing of your mam May her gentle soul rest in peace."

Another reads: "Deepest sympathy to the Curran and Doran families on the sad passing of your Mam. May Bridget rest in peace."

A third user writes: "Deepest sympathy to the Curran family on the sad loss of their dear mother Bridget and to Michael Doran and the extended Doan family. May she rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you at this most difficult time

Funeral Arrangements 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) from 3pm on Monday, July 1st, concluding with prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal from there to St Joseph’s Church, Tinryland, on Tuesday at 1.30pm, (via her residence), arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
