Tributes flood in for Carlow woman who had a 'gentle soul' following her passing

Sheila McKenzie - Monday 15th July 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Sheila McKenzie of 26 Chestnut Court and formerly of Conway Park, Bagenalstown, and recently Signa Care nursing home, Killerig, Tullow, Co. Carlow.

Pre-deceased by her husband J.J McKenzie and their infant son P.J, sadly missed by her loving sons Michaèl, Sean, Seamus & Peadar. brothers Paul, Brendan and Peadar, sisters Margo & Coleen, daughters- in- law, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:

"Our Deepest Sympathy to all of Sheila's family, a lovely lady may Sheila's gently soul rest in peace."

Another reads: "My sincerest condolences to the McKenzie family at this very sad time. May this lovely lady rest in peace."

A third user writes: "Our sincere condolences to the Mackenzie & Kelly family on the passing of Sheila. Our thoughts are with you all during this time. May she rest in peace."
