Tributes paid 'lovely friendly' Carlow woman following her passing

Patricia (Pattie) Byrne (née Byrne) - Thursday 29th August 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Patricia (Pattie) Byrne (née Byrne) of The Hollow, Paulville, Tullow, County Carlow.

Patricia passed away in her 100th year suddenly at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her loving husband James, son Seamus, infant daughters Rita and Shiela, twin brother Cha, sister Mary (Corr) and son-in-law John (Stirrat). Sadly missed by her loving children Betty, Mary, Patricia, Anne and Chris, sons-in-law Michael, John and Greg, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, niece, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:

"Sincere Sympathy to Betty,Chris,Mary
Patricia and Anne on the sad passing of your Mam. Mrs. Byrne was a lovely
friendly lady always enjoying a chat. You are all in our thoughts at this sad time. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace."

Another reads: "Deepest sympathies to Betty, Mary, Patricia, Ann and Chris and the extended family on the passing of your lovely Mam who was a true Lady in every way. May her gentle soul rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at her residence (Eircode R93 DW32) on Tuesday from 4pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Wednesday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with James in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rathvilly.
