Tributes pour in for local County Carlow man following his recent passing

Michael J. Brennan - Wednesday 4th September 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Michael J. Brennan (Mick) of "Cimi" Burrin Road, Carlow.

Michael passed away unexpectedly on September 4th 2024 at his home.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Betty and his brother Maurice.

Beloved husband of Marion, cherished father of Sonya, Jacqueline, Lisa and Michael, loving brother of Tom, Marian, John, Liz and Georgie and absolutely adored Gaga of Cían, Mia, Eryn, Holly and Dani.

Mick will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife, son, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Des, Peter and Jason, his aunt Molly, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nephews and nieces, his wonderful neighbours on the Burrin Rd and his many dear friends.

Tributes have been paid in the comments section of Death Notice's Carlow on Facebook and some read:

"Very sad news RIP Mick. Condolences to Marion and all his family"

Another reads: "So sorry for you all thinking of all the family at this extremely difficult time"

A third user writes: "Rest in peace Mick condolences to Marion Sonya Jackie Lisa and Michael and the rest of mick family May mick rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at his home, Burrin Rd, Carlow (Eircode R93 R9K1) from 2pm on Friday September 6th, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening. Removal from there on Saturday at 10.15am to The Holy Family Church, Askea, (via Pollerton Rd) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
