'Kindness shone through his eyes' Tributes paid following passing of Graiguenamanagh man

Moling Cushen - Coolyhune, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny, R95P8PO / Graiguenamanagh, Carlow

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Moling Cushen of Coolyhune, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny, R95P8PO / Graiguenamanagh, Carlow.

Moling passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of his family on the 29th of October 2024.

He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, his daughter Danielle, and sons Michael and Jason, his Grand daughter Evelyn, Kirsty and Christopher.

Deeply regretted by his sisters Kathleen, Eileen, Bridget and Theresa and his brother Lar, his nieces,nephews and friends. Pre deceased by his other brothers and sisters.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Danielle, Michael, Jason, your Dad was such a gentleman, his kindness shone through his eyes & ever-present smile. Uncle Moling / 'Mo' was the quiet one in a loud family but he was the most observant & definitely the most rational!
Reminded this Hallowe'en week of all the spooky tales he'd tell to our enthralled younger selves, making the road back up to Coolyhune a terrifying trek in the dark..
Nothing but the fondest memories of a wonderful man.
May he Rest in Eternal Peace x"

Another reads:

"Sincere condolences to all the Cushen family on the passing of Moling.
Had a lot of good nights out with Moling back in the day, great memories.
May he rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, Graiguenamanagh (eircode R96D853) from 3pm to 8pm on Thursday, 31st of October. Removal from his home in Coolyhune on Friday morning, 1st of November, at 10.40am to arrive at the Church of St Moling, Glynn or 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Mullins Cemetery.
