Tributes paid to a Carlow man who was a 'genuinely friendly man' following his passing

Seamus Connolly - Carrorea, Tobinstown, Tullow, Carlow - Thursday 7th November 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Seamus Connolly of Carrorea, Tobinstown, Tullow, Carlow and formerly of Kellistown, County Carlow.

Seamus passed away peacefully on November 7th 2024 at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny

Beloved husband of Elizabeth, much loved father of Lisa and James, adored grandfather of Luca, Alex and Oisín, cherished brother of Marie, Paddy and Liam and adored son of the late Jimmy and Áine Connolly.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Clive, James’ partner Eva, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt Maura, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"My sincere sympathy to Liam and all the Connolly family on your very sad loss. Seamus was always such a genuinely friendly man. It was a pleasure to have known him.
I measc na naomh go raibh sé"

Another reads:

"Deepest sympathy to the Connolly family on the sad passing of Seamus. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Rest in peace Seamus."

Funeral arrangements announced Later through the link HERE

A vote of sympathy was extended by Carlow County Council at Monday's Council meeting.
