Tributes paid to Graiguecullen woman who was 'quick witted and so lovely' following her passing

Frances Anderson - 60 St Fiacc's Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow - Tuesday 26th November 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Frances Anderson of 60 St Fiacc’s Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow.

Frances passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny on the 26th of November 2024.

Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret and cherished sister of the late Jack

She will be sadly missed by her loving nieces Mary and her husband Aidan, grandnieces Naoimh and Ciara, great-grand nephews Jack and Cian, great-grandnieces Eadaoin, Caoimhe and Caragh, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Sincere sympathies Mary, Aiden and family on the sad passing of Frances. What a lady, I loved her to bits. She made my days in Carlow College, always in good humour, so quick witted, we had many laughs together and she was so lovely. Rest in heavenly peace dear Frances xx"

Another reads:

"Sincere sympathies to you Mary, Aidan, Naoimh, Ciara, extended family & friends on the passing of Frances. Such a lovely, kind, gentle lady I was privileged to call a friend. Great memories of many happy times with you in Carlow College, St Patrick's. May you forever Rest in Peace now reunited with your beloved brother Jack."

Funeral arrangements 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, (Eircode R93 ET80) on Thursday, November 28th, from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, followed by burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen
