Tributes have been paid following the passing of Seamus Scully of Bawnville Drive, Tallaght and late of St. Fiacc’s Terrace, Graiguecullen, Co. Carlow.
Seamus passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on the 5th of December 2024.

Beloved husband of Annette, loving father to Lorna and Anne and adored grandad to Billy, Rhys, Sam and Ellen. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brother Pat, sister Rosaleen and her partner Michael, sons-in-law Martin and John, sister-in-law Jacinta, godchild Ciara, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"It was a pleasure to have known Seamus as far back as I can remember from Graigue and the army,always a gentleman.May he rest in peace

Another reads:
"My deepest sympathies to Annette and family at this very sad time. Always good for a laugh and a story or two, never a dull moment in his company. He will be sadly missed. May Séamus Rest in Peace"
Funeral arrangements
Reposing at his home, St. John’s, Dublin Rd., Castledermot (R14 RP76) on Thursday from 4pm concluding with Rosary at 7.30pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to The Church of The Assumption, Castledermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, Burial afterwards in Coltstown, Cemetery.
