Tributes paid to Graiguecullen man who was an 'honour to have known' following his passing

Michael KENNY - St Fiacc's Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow - Monday 6th January 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Michael Kenny of St Fiacc's Terrace, Graiguecullen, Carlow.

Michael passed away peacefully at The District Hospital Carlow on January 6th 2025.

Beloved brother of the late John, Moll, Peg, Breda and Nell

He will be sadly missed by his loving nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Condolences to Mick's family on his sad passing. We both worked with Mick in Corcorans. It was always a pleasure to meet him for a chat and a laugh around Town or Graiguecullen.
His friendly disposition made him a friend to everyone both young and old
He will be sadly missed by all who had the honour to have known him.
Rest in Peace Mick and thank you for the friendship."

Another reads: 

"Sincere condolences to all the Kenny family on the sad passing of Mick he was one of Graigues most loyal characters could make friends with anyone a truly special gentleman rip in peace Mick will always be thinking of you"
