Tributes paid to a 'great character' from County Carlow following his passing

Willie Webb - Kilcoole, Rathoe, Carlow - Saturday 18th January 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Willie Webb, Kilcoole, Rathoe, Carlow.

Willie passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on the 18th of January 2025.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Brigid, sons Liam, Patrick, John and Declan, daughters Maria and Martina, daughters-in-law Samone, Carole and Marian, sons-in-law Michael and Willie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Very sorry to hear this news of the sad passing of Willie . My deepest condolences to Bridie and all the Webb family. He was a great character. May he rest in peace"

Another reads: 

"Deepest sympathy to Bridie and the extended Webb family on the death of Willie. Prayers for you all during these difficult days. May he Rest in Peace."

Funeral arrangements

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Monday evening from 5pm concluding at 8pm sharp. Removal from his residence on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathoe for 12 noon Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
