Tributes have been paid following the passing of Theresa (Bridget) Kelly (née Molloy) of GBlackhill, Clonmore, Hacketstown Carlow.
Theresa passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on 26th January 2025

Predeceased by her husband Mick, sister Mary and brother Jim. Sadly missed by her loving sons, Eddie, Michael, Alan, Derek, Nigel and Patrick, her daughter Siobhan, daughters-in-law Lisa, Doreen and Louise, Siobhan’s partner Eddie and Patrick’s partner Lisa, her 12 grandchildren, Donna, Mitch, Stephanie, Chelsea, Shauna, David, Aaron, Sarah, Ciara, Ava, Casey and Cian and 10 great-grandchildren, Ellie, Braiden, Teagan, Oden, Ross, Brogan, Eli, Robbie, Finley and Cróia, sisters Peg and Bridie, brothers John, Patsy and Danny, sisters-in-law Mary, Julie and Monica, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Deepest sympathy to all of Theresa's family alway a lady with a great personality and a lovely smile Rest in peace Theresa "
Another reads:
"Our sincere condolences to the Kelly family on the passing of your mam and grandmother. Such a lovely jolly lady. Always enjoyed having a chat with her in town. And lovely memories of herself and Mick at our New Year’s parties. She just loved life and her family. She will be sorely missed by everyone. Rest in peace Theresa."
Funeral arrangements
Reposing at her residence (Eircode R93 D268) on Tuesday, 28th January, from 2pm. Removal from there on Wednesday morning at 11.30am to The Church of Our Lady of The Wayside, Clonmore for 12 noon Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
