RIP: Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was 'one of a kind' following her passing

Nikki (Nicole) Coakley, nee Morrissey - JKL Avenue, Carlow - February 19th 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Nikki (Nicole) Coakley, nee Morrissey of JKL Avenue, Carlow.

Nicole passed away at home on the 19th of February 2025.

Beloved wife of Ken, adored mother of Lauren and Kim and cherished daughter of Joe and Billie (New Oak Estate). Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, daughters, parents, sisters Susan and Tammy, brother Jody, much loved grandchildren Kaidyn, Aria and Preya, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends. Predeceased by her son-in-law Thomas Nolan.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Deepest sympathy to Ken, Lauren, Kim, the Morrissey and Coakley families on the devastating loss of your beloved Nikki. You were one of a kind. Sleep tight till we meet again"

Another reads:

"Our heartfelt condolences to to Ken, Lauren, Kim, Nikki’s parents, siblings Susan, Tammy, Jody and extended families on Nikki’s untimely death, she was such a beautiful person inside and out. Words cannot express how truly sorry we are to learn of Nikki’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad and heartbreaking time. May Nikki rest in eternal peace."

Funeral arrangements

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Sunday (Feb 23rd) from 2pm to 6pm. Removal from her home on Monday morning to the Cathedral of the Assumption to arrive for funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
