Anastasia Rimell (née Sinnott) - Bagenalstown - Wednesday 2nd April 2025
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Anastasia Rimell (née Sinnott) of Bagenalstown, Carlow and formerly Graiguenamanagh and The Rower.
Anastasia died peacefully in the gentle care of The Sacred Heart Catholic Hospital, Carlow on the 2nd of April surrounded by her loving family.
Pre deceased by her loving husband John, her brothers Jimmy and Tommy and her sister Maureen.
Deeply missed by her daughters Louise (Ward), Vicky (O' Mahony) and Elizabeth (Kane), her Grandchildren Katherine, Emma, Anastasia, David, Sarah, Isobel, Sophie and Joshua, her Great Grandchildren, her sons in law John Ward, Seamus O' Mahony and Liam Kane, sisters Peggy, Kathleen, Anne and Joan, her brother Jerry, extended family and her many friends.
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"So so sad to hear about Anastasia. Loved our chats in St Clare’s over the past few years. I’m going to miss her stories and her beautiful smile. Condolences to all her family and may Anastasia rest in peace"
Another reads:
"Sending deepest condolences to Elizabeth, Vicky, Louise and families on the passing of your dear mother and grandmother Ann. She was a lovely lady and I have fond memories of our many chats years ago. May Ann rest in peace."
Funeral Arrangements.
Reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, Graiguenamanagh, (Eircode R95 D853) from 2pm to 8pm on Friday 4th of April. Removal at 10.40am on Saturday, arriving at Duiske Abbey, Graiguenamanagh for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral Home private Saturday morning please. Requiem Mass can be viewed online, a link will be available here before the Mass time.. Burial afterwards in The Rower Cemetery.
