Tributes paid to Carlow native who had a 'wonderful personality' following her passing

Mary Redmond (née Moore) - Carlow - Bunclody - Friday 23rd May 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Mary Redmond (née Moore) of Tinteán Phádraig, Tullow, Carlow and formerly of Bunclody, County Wexford.

Mary passed away peacefully at The District Hospice, Carlow surrounded by her loving family on the 23rd of May 2025.

Predeceased by her loving husband Myles, son John (Babs) and brothers Charlie, Shem and Aidan. Sadly missed by her loving children, sons Myles, Aidan, Jim and Gavin, daughters Linda, Jenny, Sharon, Treacy and Stephanie and her partner Myles, brothers Mick, John, Timmy, Ollie, Paddy, and Ger, sisters Margo, Jane, and Marie, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Our deepest sympathy to Lynda & family & also all the Redmond/Moore families. Mary was a very kind & gentle soul. May she now rest in peace."

Another reads:

"Sincere sympathy to the Redmond and Moore families on the sad passing of their mum / sister. Mai was a beautiful kind lady with a wonderful personality. Rest in Peace Mai."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Sunday evening from 5pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral Home private thereafter please. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Bunclody on Monday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Bunclody.
